OCLS has secured funds from the Emergency Connectivity Fund (ECF) to establish a Wi-Fi hotspot device (“hotspot”) lending program to provide wireless broadband internet to customers who do not have access to the internet and need this service to meet their educational needs.
As per the ECF...
The battery’s life will vary depending on the number of devices used, signal strength, and usage.
Up to 10 devices can be connected at a time. Note that connection speeds may slow down.
Hotspot internet usage is filtered in compliance with Children's Internet Protect Act (CIPA).
If you need technical assistance using the hotspot, contact T-Mobile at 844.361.1310. For all other questions, contact the library at 407.835.7323.
Instructions will be provided with each hotspot kit. If further assistance is needed, T-Mobile, who provides the device and the network, will provide technical support. Library staff are available to assist customers who need help requesting a hotspot.
