How can I Limit/Sort my results after a search?

The limit/sort function is now available again for simple title, author, and other searches. It does not work for keyword or simple Boolean searches. After you have entered your simple search information and clicked on Go, the search results screen will have a Sort button which allows you to sort your search results by title, author, year, reverse year, call number, or material type.

The best way to sort a search for the most accurate results is to set the search criteria first. If you are looking for current titles by an author, titles at a particular location, or titles in a language, first click on the Advanced Search button from the main search screen. On the Advanced Search screen, you will be able to search by author, title, or subject. This search will automatically be sorted by date and will allow you to limit your search by location, material type, and language. Simple keyword searches also automatically sort results by date.
