The Library focuses on events that are literacy or literature-based, or that supports or highlights the Library’s services or collections. Emphasis is placed on events of an arts, cultural or humanities nature and on events that encourage civic engagement and community discourse. The Library also hosts entertainment and community education events.
Please review the following information and then submit your proposal online. Applicants will be notified by email once the proposal has been received. The Library will contact the presenter if the event/author visit meets our guidelines and fits into our mission, schedule, and budget. Please note that the program schedule is planned between four and six months in advance. All submitted proposals will be kept on file and a staff member will contact an applicant only if and when there is interest in hosting the proposed event/program.
