Melrose Film Festival

The Melrose Film Festival is back, and the submission process is now open. Melrose Film Festival highlights the work of imaginative filmmakers across the globe and filmmakers are encouraged to submit their digital entries now through April 17. Entries are accepted from all filmmakers, but Florida filmmakers may submit one film free of charge by emailing melrosefilmfestival@ocls.info with proof of Florida residency.

Categories this year include AI shorts, Animated Shorts, Documentaries, Micro Short Films and Short Films. All entries must be 10 minutes or less and adhere to festival rules. View the complete rules.

A celebration of the art of visual storytelling in short films, the Melrose Film Festival will take place in-person on September 28 in The Dorothy Lumley Melrose Center for Technology, Innovation & Creativity and will feature screenings from approximately 75 selected films. Special consideration will be given to filmmakers in the state of Florida, and winning films may be broadcast on local television.
