Have you heard the big news yet? Orange County Library System is fine free.

Waive Fines Goodbye

That’s right – you can waive fines goodbye! All existing overdue charges have been canceled and late fines were eliminated as of Sunday, October 16.

If you had fines on your account but have returned your items to the library, your account has been cleared. Come back and use the library! However, if you have books, CDs, DVDs or other library materials that haven’t been returned yet, or if you’ve lost library items and don’t know what to do, we’ve got you covered.

I have a book that I haven’t returned. What do I do?

Just bring the book to any branch location or drop it in any of our drop boxes! We’ll take it from there.

Does it matter how long ago the books were borrowed?

Nope. We’re happy to take them back no matter how late they are.

I’ve returned my book, now what?

Speak to one of our library staff. Our team will help get you set up with an active card so you can begin checking out materials again!

How do I get in touch with someone at the library?

Give us a call at 407-835-7323, stop by any branch location, or chat with us online! Our staff is standing by to assist you.

I lost my books or other library materials, am I still eligible to use the library’s services again?

We encourage you to reach out to our library staff to discuss your individual situation. Our knowledgeable experts will point you in the right direction. Feel free to call us at 407-835-7323, stop by any branch location, or chat with us online.
